About Us
Treated Like Royalty is ...
A home based daycare that not only nurtures every child but cares about the overall health of each child. We care about what they eat, and how they eat. We allow parents options on health conscious decisions without any hassles. Some would say, we have a down south respectful feel about us. We teach simple things like eating over your plate and wash your hands before and after eating. We believe early childhood development is not just educational but everyday mannerisms. Its the simple things that take children a long way. Which can all be instilled through consistency, patterns, and discipline.
Minimum Standards & Guidelines...
At Treated Like Royalty we strive to keep all parents satisfied through kindness, communication, and preparedness. We aim for close nit nurture for all our children. We strive to care for students. To achieve these goals we must follow the guidelines, so that things run smoothly as possible.
Upon entering Treated Like Royalty all parents must sign in and upon departure student must be signed out. We require a manual record of time and date each child leaves and enters the property.
Financial
Each student’s tuition is due every Friday, and will be considered late on Monday of the following week. If tuition is not paid by Monday, students cannot attend daycare on Monday morning or thereafter until tuition is paid in full. If students are going on vacation, we require half of tuition for each week, which will keep your child’s place in enrollment. If student is absent for more than 2 weeks, the student will be replaced and the parent will have to find other means of childcare.
Health
Each student is required to have a copy of an up-to-date shot record from the student’s doctor. A copy of student’s birth certificate and parents must update all numbers, emails, and addresses immediately available. We strive to be prepared for any unplanned emergencies. We will not keep any students with a fever of 100 or higher, vomitting, or diarrhea. Parents will have to come get the child immediately and cannot return for at least 24 hours. We aim for everyone attending to stay as healthy as possible.
SIDS is one of the leading causes of death in babies 0 to 1 years old. Due to these extremities, we do not lay children on their stomachs while in our care.
Food
Parents are required to provide milk for newborns until one years old. We will provide baby food, and all whole foods for students. We do not serve any peanuts due to this being the most common food allergy. Please notify the daycare immediately, in writing, if child has any new allergies. OUTSIDE FOOD NOT ALLOWED.
Parents Responsibilities
Please make sure each student has a change of clothes every day. If an accident occurs, we would like to be able to change the child and not disturb the parents while in our care. We ask that all parents check their emails and text at the end of each week, because we send out weekly reminders of what parents need to restock for their child. Such as diapers, wipes, similac, enfamil, ect… Even though we make it a habit to communicate every day, we do a little extra by reminding our parents so they will have more than enough time to plan out things. We require children 2 years and up to have a kindergarten mat, blanket, and pillow, so that each child can nap in comfort.
Discipline Guidelines
We do not discipline children with harsh punishments, or talking inappropriate to students. We encourage good behavior with nice gestures and kind words. However we give several notices to parents about excessive bad behavior. We do not tolerate fighting, hitting, or any violent behavior. Parents will receive 3 behavioral notices for this type of behavior and if the behavior persists, the parent will have to find other means of childcare.
Parents are more than welcome to stop by during business hours to check in on their children or just to see the day to day procedures.
